Check In a Shipment

Use Check In to clear tasks and holds, then mark the shipment available once the freight is ready for pickup or downstream work.

8 steps Direct app entry available

Open the shipment from Check In

  1. Go to Check In and open the shipment that still needs warehouse work.
  2. Review the status banner, open task count, and open hold count before making the shipment available.

Finish open operational work

  1. Use the Tasks tab to open each task, add notes when needed, and mark the task complete.
  2. Use the Holds tab to review blocking issues, document the resolution, and release the hold.
  3. Confirm the shipment no longer has open tasks or active holds.

A shipment cannot be made available until both the task list and the hold list are clear.

Mark the shipment available

  1. Click Mark Available on the shipment details page.
  2. Set the last free day or outbound timing fields the operation needs.
  3. Save the change so the shipment moves into the outbound flow.
